The Estalagem do Vale is approximately 30 km from Funchal International Airport and around 20 km from Funchal.
   From Funchal, you join the Cota 200 (Expressway) in the direction of Funchal- Ribeira Brava. On arriving in Ribeira Brava, you go up to Serra d'Água, from where there are two possible routes to São Vicente: the Encumeada road or the Túnel do Norte (Northern Tunnel).
   On arriving in São Vicente, you travel for a further 2 km before reaching the Estalagem do Vale.
